Spring is here...and so is the winter weight!

So I was looking at a picture of myself. Not a good idea. It was awful! I then saw a picture of my sister. She has been working hard on loosing her baby weight. Doing all the things that I hate. Eating right, exercising, you know, all the things that you didn't have to do when you were 22 and a size 0. Oh I miss those days!!! When I could go shopping and not try anything on. I could just see something I liked and buy it off the rack. 13 years and 2 kids later, fat chance! And I mean FAT! I stepped on the scale yesterday morning. Thinking, oh, maybe 5 lbs more. WRONG!! Try 10 lbs. So I guess the 660 calorie Melting Moments ice cream sandwich last week was a bad idea. Along with several other unmentionables. So I called my sister and said, Okay, I am doing it! Weight Watchers, will you be my cheerleader? She said she would. I am glad that I have such a great sister that is so supportive! Thanks Mary!

So far so good. Yesterday:

Breakfast: Yogurt
Morning Snack: Apple Slices
Lunch: Turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, swiss cheese on WW bread with a little mustard
Snack: 100 calorie pack Chips Ahoy (love those)
Dinner: not as good, but not bad- Leftover spaghetti
Snack: 2 oreos- Some vices have to be broken slowly
And tons of water.

Today:
Breakfast: Oatmeal with strawberries -yummy!

I at least feel mentally better about it. I know that I am an emotional eater and when I am alone it is worse. So I locked myself in my bedroom after I put the kids to bed so that I wouldn't be tempted and I didn't watch Food Network or "No Reservations with Anthony Bourdaine" on the Travel Channel.

One day down, and 70 to go until I leave for Japan. Hopefully I will make my goal!
